In February 2005, the enterprise was created. Its purpose was to develop the raw material base of bischofite brine and creation of production to produce various magnesium products.

Together with scientific research institutes of Ukraine and Russia, the enterprise has performed multipurpose industrial research of use and processing bischofite brines, which has demonstrated the high efficiency of using bischofite for production of especially pure magnesium oxide forms and magnesium refractory materials in volumes enough for providing the Ukraine’s industry with opportunity to pass to fundamentally new refractory materials as to their heat and chemical resistance.

Since 2006, there has been the construction of research industrial production in Chernigov oblast to produce various forms of magnesium oxides (dead-burned magnesium) from natural brines of bischofite, production of crystal form chloride magnesium (bischofite), dry magnesium construction mixtures, as well as the development of the salt mines to produce bischofite brines at Novopodilske field in Chernigov oblast.
