Kyiv Concern of Radio Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Television (RRT)

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

Whenever you watch TV, listen to the radio, or call your friends in New York or Paris, hundreds of RRT specialists are involved in the process being at the moment at their working places:
- at transmitters,
- at Satellite Communications Stations (E/S),
- at microwave relay stations.

RRT provides:
- satellite TV channels to broadcast throughout Europe,
- construction and operation of TV and radio broadcasting facilities, national television and radio, voice and facsimile microwave links,
- satellite digital telephony channels,
- data transmissions channels,
- digital broadcasting channels,
- worldwide TV programs exchange.

RRT clients include national, regional, independent commercial, international TV and radio broadcasting companies and telecommunications companies, such as TV and radio broadcasting companies from CIS countries, “Svoboda” radio channel, BBC, ICTV, Inter, Ukrtelecom, Utel.

RRT is a representative of Ukraine (DATE – Duly Authorized Telecommunications Entity) in International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (INTELSAT).
The Satellite Communications Center in Zolochiv, Lviv region, which is one of the RRT facilities, is an integral part of the National Satellite Telecommunications System.
The Center is equipped with two “A”-standard antennas, which allows establishing international communications channels at the lowest rates for the clients.

RRT Concern is a Signatory of Ukraine to the Operating Agreement of EUTELSAT (European Telecommunications Satellite Organization).
RRT is the owner of a mobile satellite communications station (E/S) placed on the Kyiv Teleport site in the town of Makariv, Kyiv region. The station operates in PAL and SECAM both mono and stereo via EUTELSAT 1 and 2 satellites providing direct TV transmissions.

RRT offers a wide range of satellite telecommunications services:
- validation of earth stations in accordance with requirements of international satellite organizations,
- space capacity booking to provide diverse satellite communications services,
- payment transactions for space segment utilization, equipment for rent, consulting, etc.
