"Voronin" Clothes Factory, Open Joint-Stock Company joins "Mikhail Voronin" concern which is a major producer of high-quality men clothes, oriented at the world market. The principal philosophy of the company's business is the quality apparent not only clothes production but in all spheres of business life.

The factory was constructed by "Vestra Union" company (France) and put into operation in 1987.
In 1994 the factory was transformed into "Zhelan" Kiev Clothes Factory" joint-stock company. The control share is owned by a famous Ukrainian clothes designer Mikhail Voronin. Mikhail Voronin is an expert of suits for men, the man with whose name quality, style and respectability, elegance and democracity are associated. He is the owner of a most technologically equipped Ukrainian enterprise - "Zhelan" factory (Kiev) which joins the best clothes factories of the world.
His name and trade mark are the visit cards of the European class in many countries, while he remains first of all a Ukrainian couturier, a national producer who is not afraid of experiments, notwithstanding all his titles and awards.

The factory focuses on making men's suits (jackets, pants) meeting European standards for quality and is located in Kiev downtown. As for now "Mikhail Voronin" concern has formed a retailing network (over 30 shops in Ukraine), a number of lines designed for various strata of the Ukrainian society.

Mass line "Mikhail Voronin" a wide range of classic-styled clothes of quality fabrics is widely known.
"Zhelan" clothes for the youth performed of fashionable and inexpensive fabrics is affordable. "Voronin" - elite clothes of high-quality expensive fabrics produced in small lots for wealthy men.
The collection of the concern has men suits in "Business casual" style. Fashion sets: small jackets with long coats performed of the same fabric and in the same colour.
Classical suits - slim lined, shoulders are slimed to the natural shape.
Colour range is miscellaneous. If speaking about classical suits, the colours are traditional: shaded brown, deep grey, deep blue, dark green, olive, darker shades.
Casual wear - brighter colours and shades are provided. Experimental colour solutions - blue (ranging from light blue to indigo colour), bright colours, all shades of red.
The hit of the season are miscellaneous "chequered" fabrics: "Pie de Pull", "Prince of Wales". Fabrics: acknowledged ones - tweed, cashmere, various fabrics with considerable wool content, brand new ones - crash (with crumple effect), flax with modal viscose fibre, papion. For business casual wear we offer quality wool with synthetic thread.

For production the factory uses materials of the well-known EU companies, namely LENOR de PEKARDE, JABULEY, HENZEL and TOOTAL.
The company possesses advanced equipment of PFAFF, DURKOPP, UNION SPECIAL; presses of TEST and MAYER; cutting-preparing complex of LECTRA SYSTEMES. Production facilities of the company feature:
- 90% German equipment;
- 5% French equipment;
- 5% Swiss equipment.

Considerably important technical aspects which enable to resolve a wide range of tasks are as follows:
- own designing and development facilities;
- own pilot facilities;
- independent power supply system;
- independent steam supply system of LOOS;
- advanced line for moist-heat treatment, which provides production of various clothes models of various types of woolen and union cloth (with specific weight 160-280 gr/sq.m).

In October 1997 complex renovation of production facilities was carried out, press facilities were replaced by the advanced equipment of INDUPRESS, which is the leader in this sphere of practical utilisation of technologies for moist-heat treatment of the XXI century.

The installed equipment enables to produce high-quality, environment friendly products.
In February 1998 the second cutting complex Vector 5 000 of LECTRA SYSTEMES (France) was installed. It enables to automate cutting-up of upper-garment fabrics and applied materials which considerably extended capabilities for clothes designing and modelling.
Informational processing is carried out with LAN of "NetGeare" (USA).

The factory is situated in a 7-floor building. The 1-st floor features:
- warehouse for ready-made garments, equipped with a suspension system of "Jet age" company (Switzerland);
- preparational workshop for qualitative and quantitative reception of raw material and fabrics and their transmitting to the cutting workshop (3-rd floor) with hoister of "Bullmer" (Germany).
2-nd floor features:
- cutting of principal and applied materials, performed with an automated cutting system of "Lectra Systemes" (France),
- duplication of cut-up elements at the automated production line of "Meyer" (Germany);
- detail processing with the unique equipment.

After controlling the semi-manufactured product is delivered to the 6-th floor. The floor features 3 sections:
- sleeve production (equipment of "Pfaff", "Durkopp", "Test" (Germany);
- lining production equipment of "Pfaff", "Durkopp", "Test" (Germany);
- assemblage of the semi-manufactured product before jointing to the lining (equipment of "Indupress", "Pfaff", "Durkopp", "Test" (Germany);

After check-out the product is delivered to the 5-th floor with a conveyor system of "Eton" (Sweden). The floor contains 2 sections:
- final assemblage of the product with the use of advanced technologies (equipment of "Pfaff", "Durkopp", "Test" (Germany);
- moist-heat treatment of the jacket and pants (new production line of "Indupress" (Germany), where a unique press for sleeve processing).
After production check-out the product is delivered to the 4-th floor using a conveyor system of "Iseli" (Switzerland).
The 4-th floor features 3 sections:
- pants (skirt) production with the use of the advanced technology (equipment of "Pfaff", "Durkopp", "Test" (Germany), "Juki" (Japan));
- a pilot department for production of exclusive clothes;
- acceptance and quality control of the ready-made garments ("9000" quality standards are used).

Consequently the clothes go to the 1-st floor where the warehouse is located.
Besides, the 5-floor features an experimental workshop where development of perspective models and advanced technologies is carried out, there are also departments for computer processing of modelling, designing and layout planning (equipment, know-how and software of "Lectra Systemes" (France)).

Along with technological and production aspects, social ones are considered. The factory possesses a canteen designed for 120 persons with free meals for employees and an entertainment club designed for 300 persons.

Production capacities: 250 000 commodities per year.

Clothes produced by the factory under Mikhail Voronin trade mark are sold in over 30 Ukrainian cities due to a developed trade network. They are also exported to Europe and America.
The company has established a school for professional shop assistants and masters of style.
Since its establishment (1994) "Zhelan" Kiev Clothes Factory" JSC has not resorted for financial aid and loans either to government or commercial banks.
The factory uses models and technologies of a famous Ukrainian designer and producer of clothes for men in Ukraine, Mikhail Voronin. "Mikhail Voronin Vienna - Paris" firm exports its clothes to many foreign countries, namely the USA, France, Germany, etc.
