Zaliv, Shipbuilding Yard, Open Joint-Stock Company

"Shipbuilding Yard "Zaliv" OJSC is located on the coast along the Strait of Kerch, between two seas – the Black Sea and the Azov Sea and protected against the winds from the East by the natural bay.
The Yard is focused on the construction, repair and update of tankers of various displacement, vessels and drilling machines, etc.

At present, the Yard is a leading enterprise in Ukraine and the CIS countries constructing up-to-date tankers of various displacement (85,000 tons) that have been exported since 1988. To date nine vessels have been sold abroad.

After the construction of an atomic lighter-aboard ship and tankers of the “Panamax” type, the company has substantially improved its technology and methods brining them at the level with the European standards.

Some USD 35 million was invested to introduce advanced technology and equipment, which resulted in higher quality and shorter building period – basic indices of competitiveness of vessels in the world market.
