Plant of Building Constructions Ltd was created in 1957 and had the name of «Chernivtsi Complex of Production Enterprises «Oblrembudtrest» at first. At the beginning of its activity a main task of the complex was providing repair-building enterprises of Chernivtsi Region and city with reinforced concrete and joiner's wares, saw-timbers and paintworks and output of bituminous-asphalt mixture.
For this period the enterprise has managed to overcome difficulties, saved its face and professional image, and main – hard-working people. It technologically retooled and purchased new technological equipment. They built woodworking shop with cutting, joiner's and parquet sections, chambers for wood drying, forest storage facilities with tower crane and welfare spaces of shops. The machine-shop and shop of reinforced concrete wares, concrete-mixing station, compressor station and cement storage facilities were finished. They mounted travelling crane in the shop for manufacturing reinforced concrete wares and equipped yards with gantry cranes.
Presently the enterprise (territory of 3,5 ha) has woodworking shop with parquet, cutting and joiner's sections, drying chambers and welfare spaces; shop of reinforced concrete wares and constructions with armature section; concrete-mixing station with compressor station; machine-shop with welfare spaces; storage facilities. The considerable area of the territory is occupied by two open yards for manufacturing reinforced concrete wares with crane tracks; storage facilities of inert materials; forest storage facilities equipped with tower crane.
Main type of activity of the enterprise is manufacturing of reinforced concrete and concrete wares, constructions for industrial and housing building.
The production range makes 48 positions. Among wares and constructions made by the enterprise, there are follows as wares of housing building (plates, cellular floors, link beams, fundamental blocks and beds, stair flights and grounds, balcony plates, beam heads and ledgers); road building wares (road plates and borders); mixed reinforced concrete fence, well rings of different diameters, floor panels and concrete solution; wares of woodworking shop (saw-timbers of wide range and joiner's wares).
Basic production subsection is shop for manufacturing reinforced concrete wares and constructions. The share of its production makes 75% of general production volume. The shop monthly manufactures almost 800 cube m of reinforced concrete wares and almost 300 cube m of custom concrete. The woodworking shop has large reserves for increasing output of wares, especially joiner's wares.
In 2007 an experienced and capable builder with 50-years experience of work in building industry Vasyl G. Moroz was appointed on position of General Director of the plant. For short time of work of new guidance the output of wares grew by 30,8%.
At the end of 2007 they finished reconstruction and retooling of welfare spaces in the shop of reinforced concrete wares as well as arranged and repaired clock-house. The territory from clock-house to administration building was paved in stone blocks and the repair of roof and spaces of administration building was started where engineering personnel of Company «Chernivtsizhytlobud» will be placed in 2008. Also the roof of woodworking shop and its welfare spaces will be repaired
Today Plant of Building Constructions Ltd is an enterprise with production capacity of 20 000 cube m of reinforced concrete and concrete wares a year, and the cost of output of gross products makes almost 10 mln. hryvna.
The basis of success of the collective and administration of the enterprise is harmony and responsibility, powerful production base and set relations with partners.
Presently the enterprise carries out wholesale, small-scale wholesale, retail, commission, trading-purchase and trading intermediary business, sale of food and industrial goods through own trading network, offers forwarding, dealer and distribution services, makes repair and service of metal-working and woodworking technical and electrical equipment, transport vehicles, foreign economic activity, conducts research and scientific-design works, provides search, extraction and working of minerals.
