Taurian Itelligence Property Association (TIPA) is a public organization, which unites on a voluntary basis scientists, specialists, inventors, art workers, patent specialists, lawers, economic specialists, entrepreneurs and other physical and legal entities, participating in the innovation process and creative arts for joint solution of the problems related to intellectual property (industrial property, copyrights, contiguity rights);
Association has 15 regional affiliates in the Crimea.

The major objective of the Association is as follows:
- Assist to the development of scientific-technical , creative work, inventive, rationalization, patent and licensing activity;
- Informational, educational, methodical work on promotion of knowledge related to protection and usage of intelligence property objects.
Association has its own databank about subjects and objects of the intellectual property in the Crimea.

Association has 2 forms of membership: individual (physical entities)and collective one (legal entities). Foreign legal and physical entities may become Association memebrs.
Financial resources of TIPA consist of membership fees, donations and sponsors' help.
