International Center for Entrepreneurship and Management Development was founded on the basis of International Scientific and Technical University (Kyiv, Ukraine) under the auspices of International Labour Organization (Geneva, Switzerland) by the initiative of a group of highly qualified Ukrainian and Western specialists having a vast practical experience in the area of scientific research, consulting and training.
Main activities:
- research and diagnostics of social-economic situation and business potential in Ukraine;
- research into modern management problems;
- research into economic and organizational problems of technology transfer and consulting in the area of innovation management;
- scientific and methodological support of Ukrainian companies restructuring;
- training and consulting of trainers, consultants, researchers working in the areas of management, entrepreneurship and restructuring;
- creation and development of database of consulting and training services in Ukraine, inclusion into national and international networks;
- informational, consulting and training support of entrepreneurship;
- development of theoretical, scientific and practical, methodic and training materials in the area of business consulting and training;
- assistance in establishing business contacts between Ukrainian and foreign businessmen.
Currently the Center is working on the following projects:
- SME Development in Ukraine (grant of the UN representation in Ukraine, 1998)
- Creation of Pilot Environmental Management Center in Ternopil (BISTRO grant of TACIS, 1998)
