Univest Marketing started as a small operation in June 2004 with four enthusiastic and determined employees who began a long journey of growth and transformation into one of the leading printing and publishing houses in Ukraine. Today, the Company employs more than seven hundred people. It consists of three business units- Univest Media, Univest Print, Univest PrePress and subdivisions of general corporate level.

In November 1994, we crossed our first milestone with the publication of the first issue of Propozitsiya magazine. Today, as well as this magazine, Univest Media also publishes Ogorodnik, which has the highest circulation among such magazines in Ukraine. In addition to our increasing range of publications and the variety of information and marketing services that we provide to the agricultural sector, we have extended our activities in such diverse areas as building, agriculture, interior design by launching in September 2003 a new publishing project, Krasivaya Usadba (Fine Manor).

Another of our achievements was the creation of Univest Print in 1996, which has since become the second largest printing company in Ukraine. Today, Univest Print is in operation 24 hours a day and 365 days a year and is continuously expanding. In 2001, to accommodate increasing demand from our customers and to provide the foundations for future growth, a new printing workshop was put into operation in Fastov equipped with state-of-the-art prepress machinery, and web and sheet-fed offset printing presses, as well as finishing and packaging machines. In 2004, we invested HR 25 million in further new printing equipment and we will increase our work and storage space by adding a further 2,500 sq meters to our facilities.

In September 2002 Univest PrePress was set up as an independent business. It began operations in 1995 as a design studio but quickly enhanced its activities to include the provision of a large range of prepress services to customers. To support these activities, we opened a new Photo Studio in 2003 and installed a complete CTP system. We have also launched a new digital project which will make Univest a complex provider of prepress and printing services.

Universal Folder is our most recent company, specializing in the production of binders and folders. It is a 50 % joint venture with an Italian company. Its production is based within our Fastov printing complex and has become one of our highly successful operations, producing upwards of 250,000 binders per month.
