Production company "Shutlyhin&Co", the private firm, was set up in 1993, in Kharkiv.

The company employs 40 people that present a mobile and united team comprising experts in their fields - glassblowers, engineers, graduate specialistes and managerial personnel.

The staff is provided with equipped workplaces, latest communication facilities, computers and office equipment.

The major activity of the company is manufacture products from glass:
- household and technical density gauges;
- thermometers

The company manufactures 209 dimension-types of density gauges for measuring density of petroleum derivatives, glycol, electrolitic solutions, acids, spirits, wine, milk, sugar solutions, table salt, urine and other liquids.
Produced devices were subject to and passed State Acceptance Tests and the State Scientific and Technical Committee for Standards of Ukraine entered them in the State Register of gauges eligible to be used in Ukraine, with the company being licensed for production of density gauges.

Company's products enjoy signnificant demand abroad. In 1995 the company received a certificate of conformance for its density guages and became a member of the EAN Ukrainian Association for Goods Bar Code Numbering, which resulted in an EAN identification bar code assigned
