The Company. Scala Business Solutions is a software company. The company has traditionally supplied software for managing business, including both accounting packages and development of the entire ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software suit. Scala’s primary market is the subsidiaries and departments of global companies, providing standard and localized software. Scala sells to the headquarters of these companies and then implements the software globally; through an unusually wide market coverage in almost every country in the world. Scala also addresses purely local markets through a network of dealers.
Scala was one of the first companies to enter the Central and Eastern European markets in the beginning of 1990s when in 1991 it was first introduced in Russia and in 1995 opened a permanent office in Kiev, Ukraine. We were one of the first to offer financial systems to enterprises just as they were being privatised, consolidated, or acquired by outside investors. Scala Developing centre in Moscow, being one of the biggest worldwide centres of the kind, promptly reacts to the rapid changes in Ukrainian legislation. We have survived regular and multiple revisions of the regulatory and tax codes, working with multiple currencies, currency devaluation, and all of the other elements of rapidly changing economic environments in the post-socialist world.
