OJ-SC "Ukrstalkonstruktsiya" includes the biggest specialized plants of Ukraine producing steelwork of various designation. During the period of existence from steelwork made by our company many of complex engineering structures, hundreds of industrial projects both in our country and abroad were installed. Among these projects, for instance, more than 11 thous. tn. steel structures of sarcophagus were made to cover the fourth power unit of Chernobyl NPP, which were manufactured by our enterprises and delivered within strict time periods in 1986 - 1989.
For previous 5 years on orders of inland and foreign companies steel structures were produced and delivered by the plants of J.S. "Ukrstalkonstruktsiya" for construction of such big projects like wide-span bridges in amount of 19 thous. tn. in Ankara, Turkey, reservoirs for storage of oil products in Iran, Azerbaijan, Russian Federation, blast furnace No.7 in Ukraine, Dneprodzerzhinsk city, blast furnace No.6 and roofing steel structures of the main building of FOK-3, SevGOK plant, in Krivoi Rog and many others.
The steelwork plants of J.S. "Ukrstalkonstruktsiya" are specialized according to design and functional features of the produce, which makes it possible to guarantee a high technologic ability of production, their necessary cooperation at supplies and best quality of products.
Thus, for instance, the Dnepropetrovsk Steelwork Plant named aft. Babushkin is specialized in prefabrication of complex extremely large skeleton and plate structures for blast furnaces, rolling mill shops, wide-span bridges and other heavy constructions. The steelwork plants in Zaporozhje, Donetsk and Zhitomir produce the frames of industrial buildings for different purposes. The Zaporozhje Steelwork Plant fabricates reservoir structures by means of coiling method. The Zhitomir Shielding Steelwork Plant and the Kamenets-Podolsky Light Steelwork Plant are equipped with the up-to-date technology lines for production of complete set buildings and separate elements of light-weight steel coverings, frames, stained-glass panels, clerestories, gates, cladding and other similar products.
J.S. "Ukrstalkonstruktsiya" is in close cooperation with the leading research and design-technological institutes of steel structures of Ukraine and CIS countries on problems of designing steelwork and technologies of their production, especially with the E.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute of Ukraine's Academy of Sciences. This fact allows to maintain the proper quality level of the produce, which is certified by the leading European companies - "SLV - Berlin - Brandenburg", "TUV - Rheinland".
