Nowadays output goods of “Pirena” are fully able to ensure the safety of the personnel of specialized units and the people working under extreme conditions. The product line of the enterprise includes a number of heat resistant, heat-reflective and chemical protection suits, a fire-man helmet and a set of general purpose foam concentrates.
The company “Pirena” is engaged in a successful cooperation with oil and gas, power, chemical, metallurgy industries; it also effects deliveries of its goods to engineering works and transportation industry. Time and again the company has been the winner of commercial tenders for direct supplies of its products to the Ministry of Emergencies and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The company collaborates with the Fire Safety Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine, Makeyevka Research Institute of safety of works in mining; and it is a member of the Ukrainian Union of Fireproofing Products and Service Manufacturers.
Annually the company participates in international expositions and forums, such as “Fire Engineering”, “Protection technologies”, “The International Industrial Forum”, “Oil and Gas”.

“Pirena” is a regular competitor in All-Ukrainian Contest of Quality. In 2007 the foam concentrate “Snezhok-1” was recognized as the best Ukrainian product in nomination for development and manufacture of fire fighting facilities and equipment. In 2008 the foam concentrate “Pirena-1” won the same nomination award.

The committee of the All-Ukrainian contest of fire fighting products declared the thermo protective suit “Index-1200” the winner in nomination for the best fire fighter heat-proofing suit in Ukraine; and the company “Pirena” fitted into a category “the best” among the major domestic manufacturers of fire fighting equipment.

In 2008 the company “Pirena”, as was reported by state official statistic, came to the fore having gained the sufficient total number of points to meet four criteria: “Volume”, “Growth dynamics”, “Diversification”, “Geography”. In the final analysis the company was found to be the winner in section “Exporter of the Year”.

The contest was held under the aegis of the International Chamber of Commerce with the assistance of the Cabinet Council of Ukraine. It has been serving the purpose of working out Ukrainian industry-leading enterprises engaged in foreign-trade operations according to the standards of key foreign ratings known as “Importer/Exporter of the Year”.

In 2010 by open competition in the contest arranged by the Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine “The best product for civil protection of people and territories against anthropogenic and natural disasters” the thermo protective suit “Index-1200” won first place and was awarded a diploma and the Cup in nomination “Personal protection equipment”. The foam concentrate “Pirena-1” of four types got the second prize and was awarded a diploma in nomination “Fire extinguishing substances”.
