Neftegaz Ukraine, Gas Ukraine, Branch Establishment was founded at the end of 2000 on determination of supervisory board of Neftegaz Ukraine, Gas Ukraine, Branch Establishment in the way of reorganization and union of the Torgoviy Dom Gas Ukraine, Branch Establishment and central administrative board Glavbytgas, Branch Establishment, Neftegas Ukraine.

Main task of Gas Ukraine:
- selling of natural and liquefied gas in the territory of Ukraine to inhabitants, communal -domestic enterprises, budget organizations, also to industrial customers, energygenerative companies Mittopenergo and to other subjects of businessman activities;
- ensuring accounts for gas;
- exploitation and developing of natural gas industry, distributing of gas systems, facilitys and equipment for them.
