State research library in Ukraine

The Library was founded in March 1935.

On the 6 of June 1960 it was granted the status of State Library. It was given its present name in 1992.Main types of activity: scientific and technical literature and documentation fund formation including patent, normative and technical, industrial documentation, auto synopsis dissertations, publication of bodies of scientific and technical informational; library and bibliographic, reference and informational service; topic patent quest; giving of the factographic information about the firm, organization, enterprise (domestic and foreign) and its products; deposition of scientific works; documentation copy making; providing with computer technique and Internet, documentation and image scanning, electronic delivery of documents etc.
