Public Joint-Stock Company «MZBK» is a modern and highly industrial company for manufacturing concrete-steel constructions for building of bridges, overpasses and other engineering structures. It was created in 1993 by corporatization of the Kyiv Plant of Bridge Concrete-Steel Constructions.
In cooperation with research workers they introduced progressive technologies for manufacturing modern concrete-steel constructions.
Since 1977 the collective is headed by highly skilled specialist, wonderful organizer Valentyn S. Kayun who cares of expansion of production range and increase of its quality.
The plant has own rail roads, platforms and diesel engines for delivering constructions with the length to 27 m and weight to 100 t. Due to constructions of OJSC «MZBK» it was built to 70% of bridges and overpasses in Ukraine, 97% – in Kyiv. It is railway station (Kyiv); road interchange at Sevastopolska Square (Kyiv); overpass (Chop); bridges (Chernihiv and Belgorod in Russia); road interchange in sea port (Odessa); reconstruction of terminal of the pier 1,2 (Mariupol); road interchanges on highways Kyiv–Odessa, Kharkiv– Simferopol, Kyiv–Lugansk–Izvaryne and Kipti–Glukhiv–Bachevsk.
The plant manufactures highway beams of balk structures with the length of 12-24 m by typical and individual projects, highway beams-insertions for continuation of balk structures with the length of 21; 24-27 m; 31 m, tower bodies for highway bridges, cross-beams for bridges, approach slabs, back walls (Ш-1-Ш-9), head beams, beams of balk structures for foot-bridges with the length of 12-27 m, foundations, tower bodies, stringers (quarter-turn and straight), separate stairs for foot-bridges, piles with the length of 6-13,6 m (0,35*0,35 m), ІШП (tongue) with the length of 6-9 m (width of 1 m), beams B1-b4 for Chernobyl NPP, supporting wall «IСA» and «IСВ» (height of 1,7-8 m).
Today OJSC «MZBK» jointly with OJSC «Kyivsoyuzshlyakhproekt» develops the project of concrete-steel beam with the length of 33 m for building highways of European loading A-15 and HK-100 which have not analogues in the CIS. OJSC «MZBK» has many rewards, including Diploma of Laureate of the Ukrainian Prize «Leader of commodities and services of Ukraine» (2006) and Diploma of Participant of the Ukrainian Project «Transport Ukraine» in nomination «Leader of transport industry of Ukraine» (2004).
