The plant was founded in 1929 and since 1930 its products (butter, cheese and casein) have been exported to Europe. In wartime the plant was partially destroyed, its restoration and simultaneous modernization were completed in 1949 with the installation of spray drier for milk powder production.
Further the range of products of the plant was expanded. In the 70s the plant produced about 8 tons of butter per day. Also condensed milk, yogurt, ice cream, low-fat cheese and milk for animals were being produced there.
In the 1990s – 2000s the volume of production at the plant has dropped significantly.
For the last four years large-scale reconstruction and significant product differentiation has been performed at the factory. Old equipment was changed with the new modern one. A unique for Ukraine automatic spray drier for powdered milk and milk-based mixes production was put into operation. A new line for butter and spreads production was installed. It allows carrying out production process in a closed flow with high microbiological purity.
Strict quality control of raw materials, production process and final products allows producing goods compliant with standards and food safety requirements of international standards certifications.
