I. Trush Lviv State College of Decorative and Fine Arts

Main directions of activity: preparation of junior specialists and bachelors by following directions as creative art, decorative and applied art, design.

I. Trush Lviv State College of Decorative and Fine Arts founded on December 18, 1876 is one of the oldest art establishments of Ukraine. In 1956 the educational establishment got the name of prominent Ukrainian painter Ivan Trush. In 1993 the establishment got the status of college of II level of accreditation and prepares junior specialists and bachelors by following directions as monumental-decorative painting, monumental-decorative sculpture, cloth design, architectural environment design, artistic ceramics, metal artistic wares, wooden artistic wares, artistic wavering, graphic design and artistic works restoration.
Mykola Butovych, Olena Kulchytska, Emmanuel Mysko, Roman Selsky studied and instructed in the educational establishment as well as famous present folk painters of Ukraine Zenoviy Ketsalo and Ivan Marchuk, Hero of Ukraine Borys Voznytsky.
Now, College is headed by its graduating student Vasyl Otkovych - Laureate of T. G. Shevchenko National Prize, Deserved Culturist of Ukraine.
College makes important contribution to culture of Lviv and Ukraine. The diploma thesis is performed for urban and regional objects and other regions of the country.
