The leading company of the city of Yevpatoriya and Western Crimea is TV and Radio Broadcasting Company «NTV» that was founded in 1996. Primary purpose of the company is granting of modern, high-quality and accessible telecommunications services. Realization of this purpose became possible due to active work of highly skilled personnel and introduction of the newest telecommunications equipment. TV and Radio Broadcasting Company is an operator of cable television and member of the Association of Cable Television Operators «Ukrtelemerezha». Taking into account tastes of all layers of urban population, the company broadcasts over 70 air and satellite national and foreign TV channels in the cable networks around the clock.
Also the company renders services in modern high-speed Internet by networks of cable television in the standard EURO-DOCSIS 2.0. The service division of the company and group of technical support ensure connecting to the networks of cable television and Internet for the maximal short terms.
The company has modern vehicle-studio complex for receiving and broadcasting of air and satellite TV channels. The master station is outfitted with the newest equipment of leading producers of Ukraine and foreign countries. They pay great attention to independence of the master station and main equipment. Diesel-generator with modern initial voltage conditions, trouble-free and distant power units of studio and main equipment are mounted. Linear part is mounted with high-quality cable of the best foreign producers.
The company has recently made the total reconstruction of network by HFC technology. It is laid over 26 km of optical cable by communications channels; 12 optical joints are mounted; preparation to mounting next joints in distant urban districts lasts. Due to reconstruction the frequency range of the network is extended and amount of channels is increased. Introducing the newest technologies, the company widely uses digital signal transmission. Now modern broad-band communications networks cover more than half of the territory of Yevpatoriya.
