In the heart of this land, in an old town with a heroic historical background named Uman, there’s the Uman Greenhouse Company. Its produce is widely known in Ukraine and beyond its borders under the trademark “From the Garden”. The beginning of the enterprise’s history dates back to 1974, when it was established under the name of Uman inter-collective farms educational-production greenhouse combine company.

The enterprise specializes on growing greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers. The overall area of the greenhouses is 22,3 hectares. They are located in Uman as well as branches in the towns of Khristinovka and Talnoye of Tcherlassy region. At the end of 2006 UGC successfully concluded the project of constructing 8 greenhouses according to the modern European standards for growing tomatoes using the latest technologies. Today the company’s freshest and delicious products will embellish every table, they are rich in vitamins and beneficial elements. There’s no doubt that vegetables are an important component of our diet, while implication of the state-of-the-art technology guarantees preservation of all the nutritive qualities.
