Ukrainian Association for Valves Industry

Ukraine has vigorous potentialities in producing a wide range of pipeline valves for oil-and-gas production, chemical, petrochemical, nuclear power, food and other branches of industry as well as valves for special purposes.

In order to keep and implement the experience accumulated as well as defend and represent national interests in international organizations the main valves producers have come to a decision to join their efforts as members of Ukrainian Association for Valves Industry.

The tasks of the Association include assistance in further development of national valves production, increase of export potentialities of the branch, design and development of products competitive in the global market, harmonization of Ukrainian laws with EC ones concerning valves industry as well as drafting appropriate laws, President's edicts, decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and other legislative documents. The Association has the mission to further the growth of the amount of output, effective application of scientific, engineering and industrial potentialities, establishing system of modern logistics at the enterprises, implementation of common policy in products standardization and certification.

UAVI maintains close contacts with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economics, the Ministry of Industrial Policy and other governmental bodies as well as collaborates with trade associations.
