The company was founded in October 1965 as Cherkassy factory of hygroscopic cotton wool – the most powerful among similar manufacturers in the former Soviet Union and the only manufacturer of medical cotton wool in Ukraine.
In 1993 reorganization of the enterprise took place, the name was changed to "Vatfarm”, the production of bandaging material of gauze fabric was introduced.
Since 1997 products of "Vatfarm" are issued under "Malva" trademark. The assortment of products is expanded, production of goods for personal hygiene is launched: hygiene tampons and cotton balls.
"Vatfarm” sees further development in the pursuit of a strategic focus on customer service improvement and further expansion of the product assortment.
