Ukrainian research, design and technology institute of explosion protected and mine electrical equipment with experimental manufacture (UkrNIIVE) (before 1968 – Гипронисэлектрошахт, since 1968 to 1994 ВНИИВЭ) was founded in Donetsk in 1957 and now is the only in Ukraine and leading in CIS scientific-technical center, which handles research, development, certification, application to production and operation, supply and service of the whole complex of explosion protected electrical equipment.
