The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is the main scientific establishment of the country. Affiliated organizations of the Academy carry out investigations in the fields of natural, technical, social sciences and humanities.

The NASU incorporates, in particular, 12 institutes and scientific centers conducting scientific research in the field of computer science. Over 3,000 associates work there.
