National Technical University of Ukraine ”Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” is one of the oldest and largest technical universities in the world. In 1998 NTUU “KPI” celebrated its one hundred's anniversary with participation of UNESCO. The University includes 25 Departments and 3 educational-scientific Institutes, 15 Research Institutes and 6 Engineering centers, where 33 Academicians, near 2000 Professors and lecturers work. More than 32000 students and postgraduates study at the University, including about 1000 foreigners.

The payment for 1999-2000 academic year (in USD) per year: Preparatory Department for Foreigners – 1000-1200, Bachelor – from 1300, Master – 1300-1600, PhD – from 2000, Doctor of Science – 2000-3500. Accommodation payment: dormitory - 150-400 per year, food - from 1000 per year. Preparatory Department offers advantages in payment for groups if 10-16 students.
