The Plant manufactures transposed, round copper wire , enamel insulated round copper wires, round aluminum wire, subdivided wires, copper and aluminum winding wires of rectangular cross-section with fiber-glass and polyester-glass insulation, control insulated cable with cover from PHV plasticat and wires with reinforced insulation used in the transformer-building in our country and abroad.

Up-to-date production processes for the whole cycle of wires manufacturing beginning from the wire production and up to finished product packing are mastered at the plant. We constantly perfect
design and manufacturing process of wires to improve their operating characteristics. Our progress is achieved owing to the excellent performance of all the workers of our Plant, whom we are greatly obliged to and who have made our Plant such as it is now with a good reputation which is our pride. Starting from November 1994 the Plant has been modified into the Open Stock Company. "ZAPOROZHYE CABLE PLANT".

During long time the main customer of our production was "Zaporozh-transformator" Plant. It is one of the largest and progressive concerns, that manufactures high-power transformers. The unique electrical equipment using our wires has been created at "Zaporozh-transformator". Our Plant is situated 1.5 km away from the railway station "Khortitsa" (Ways and Communication Ministry) and on the distance of 150 meters from motor road "Zaporozhye - Dnepropetrovsk". Our products are well-known not only in our country, but in other countries too. We are deservedly considered as one of the leading manufacturers of winding wires.

Legal status of the Plant:
Zaporishzhya Cable Plant, Open Joint-Stock Company is organized following order N141-r of Chairman of people's delegates Council in Zaporozhye region from November,20, 1994 after the reorganizing of state enterprise "Zaporozhye Cable Plant" from a corporation "Zaporozhtransformator" to an Open Stock Company according to decree N210/93 of President of Ukraine from June, 15, 1993 "About the state enterprises corporatization"

Control organs and their competence :
The main organ of OJSC - general assembly. The executive organ of OJSC , that controls its actual activity is the Board of directors . The competence of the Board includes all the questions regarding the problems of production process at the Plant. The board of directors is elected for the period of 5 years and reports about its work before the main organ of OJSC . The Board of directors consists of 7 members and insures fulfillment of its resolutions .

HISTORICAL REVIEW
"Zaporozhcable" - is the oldest enterprise in Zaporozhye . It was founded in 1863 in Verkhnya Khortitsa village by a Dutch settler A. Kopp for manufacturing of agricultural tools. The products of the plant were very popular. Since 1925 the range of products of the Plant was changing gradually and the Plant began to manufacture separators, and later different cutting and measuring tools.
The year 1960 was the year of great changes in the Plant biography : It was decided to launch manufacturing of winding wires for power transformers.
In 1961 the Plant changed its name to "Zaporozhkabel". In 1968 the Plant manufactured winding machinery of new generation for the production of wires with reinforced insulation. In 1970 the commercial production of special transposed winding wires for superpower transformers was launched.

Wires made by our Plant are used by many leading enterprises of the electrical industry. High quality and parameter stability of wires have won well-deserved popularity among the Customers. From November 1994 the Plant has been modified in the OSC "Zaporozhye Cable Plant". Recently "ZCP" OJSC is specializing in production of wide range of wires.

Hard wire (AT) is supplied on the metallic reels 8MC weight of each is 120-140 kg, soft/hard wire - in the coils with weight 40-60 kg.

It is supplied on the metallic reels, 12MC (capacity of 950-1100 kg) or on the wooden reels up to №16, supplied by the Purchaser.

Supplied on the metallic reels 8MC-10MC, with capacity 160-1200 kg.

Supplied in wooden reels 14B with capacity of 1500-2000 kg.
