The company was established in 1945 and has been specializing in the manufacture of household chemicals and paints&varnishes since 1962. It was officially registered as an open joint-stock company in January 1995.

The company employs 123 people. Its main products including oil paints, enamels, drying oil and varnishes are distributed domestically.
The year of 1997 saw the creation of two subsidiaries: "Rayduga" producing household chemicals and "Iskra" producing zinc white, raw materials to manufacture oil paints and enamels.
