The Institute of Radio Astronomy deals with research of current problems of physics and astronomy in the following fields:
- development of theory and physical approaches to the creation of radio telescopes;
- ground-based astronomy investigations;
- exploration of the Earth and planets, near-Earth and interplanetary space with radio astronomy and remote sounding.
The Institute offers for all interested entities to carry out joint investigations in R&D and production of: radio telescopes, receiving phased arrays, short-wave communication systems, millimetre (mm) and submillimetre (submm) wavelength radio systems and equipment, atmosphere- and ionosphere-quality monitoring systems; investigation of radio wave propagation in a wide range of frequencies.
In particular, the Institute offers for sale quantum amplifiers and mm-wavelength cooled receivers, modular sets of broadband highly-linearized low-noise amplifiers for the short wavelengths, mm- and submm-wavelength pulse magnetrons and clinotrons.
