Novomet Kharkiv Coking Plant, CCL

Main products:
- KL-2 casting coke of 60 mm and over fraction;
- KL-2 casting coke of 40 mm and over fraction;
- coal coke of 24-40 mm and over fraction;
- bean-shaped coke of 10-25 mm fraction;
- coal-tar pitch

The plant is about to finish the construction of the division to produce activated carbon used to purify drinking water at the waterworks; sewage; to separate and treat gas. Annual planned output will amount to 300 tons

The plant has designs of industrial facilities for production of activated carbon with the capacity of 4.5 thousand tons per year and an estimate value of USD 9.0 mln. The business plan of the project has been worked out and the plant is partially equipped with the necessary machinery.
