"Kalusky Brovar" is the oldest part in the structure of the "IVO" Concern. According to historical documents, "Kalusky Brovar" started brewing beer in 1649. However, beer production in Kalush was initiated even earlier, in the 16th century. Since that time, Kalush beer became famous in Europe. In special containers, it was transported to Poland, Hungary, and France. Kalush brand "Cisarske" successfully competed with Bavaria, Czech and even Lviv beer. The monarch of Austro-Hungary himself enjoyed its taste. Numerous legends were composed about the beer, its unique nutrition qualities and extraordinary flavor. They say, Ukrainian Canadians originating from Kalush tried to produce a drink resembling Kalush beer in the late 19th century, but failed.

"Kalusky Brovar" is a whole epoch in the history of not just Halychyna, but Ukraine as a whole. At present, it produces 6 varieties of "Kaluske" beer, a wholesome product without preservatives. The staff of the oldest Ukrainian brewery work to improve quality of the beer, develop its new varieties and reequip the production facilities.

In addition, Kalush brewers produce light barley and caramel malt and barley malt extract purchased by other breweries.
