Today the production of "Kremenchug Wheel Plant" Joint-Stock Company is well-known. This company is the only specialized enterprise in Ukraine and in the CIS-countries to design and to produce wheels and rims of various types for passenger cars, trucks, vans, buses, trolley-buses, tractors, combine harvesters and other agricultural machines.

In January, 2001 J.S.C. "Kremenchug Wheel Plant" has celebrated the 40-th anniversary of forming and development. Capacity of the plant is 6,5 million wheels and rims per year, it is more than 150 modifications of wheels, rims and wheel components.
Workers of the plant solve global tasks of perfection of all processes of the production and its promotion into new markets. Special attention is payed to the development of new types of production of wheels and rims, to introduction of modern "know-how" and one of the main priorities of the enterprise is a policy of quality.

All products of the plant are confirmed with the national certificates of conformity UKRSEPRO (State Standard Organisation of Ukraine) and ROSGOSSTANDART (Russian Standard Organisation). In January, 2001 the quality system of the enterprise was certificated according to requirements of the International Standards of ISO - 9001-94. The Quality Certificates are given by the UkrSepro and TUV CERT organisations. In 2002 "Kremenchug Wheel Plant" J.S.C. became a member of E.T.R.T.O. (European Tire and Rim Technical Organization) and a member of EUWA (Association of European Wheel Manufacturers).

Now, the enterprise produces a full range of wheels and rims for all types of automobiles and agricultural machines, which are produced in the countries of the CIS: for cars - "Tavria" , "Moskvich", "VAZ", "Volga", "UAZ", for trucks - "KrAZ", "MAZ", "ZIL", "KAMAZ", "Ural", for buses - "LiAZ, "LAZ"and "MAZ" and also for tractors, combine harvesters and other agricultural machines.
Only during the last 3 years, the manufacturing of competitive wheel types for agricultural machinery and automobiles, design of which meets the requirements of standards E.T.R.T.O, is developed. These are the wheels: DW 21Ax32; DW 23Ax38; DW 20Ax26; DW 27Ax32; W 12x24; DDW 18Lx42; DW 15Lx38; DW 36x25; DW 36x32; 11,75x22,5; 5 1/2j x 14H2 etc.

Put into operation in 1998-2000 years, the lines for painting of wheels with powder polymer paints provide a new attractive appearance and coating resistance, ensure successful realisation of products. In order to protect a wheel covering during a transportation, the wheels are packed on a special packing line.

Moreover, manufacturing of new types of products was started at the plant , for example, the protection of crankcase for cars, and for modern offices and as the help to municipal services - urns and containers for industrial and economic wastes.
It is necessary to note the novelties of the plant production, these are the wheels for foreign cars "Opel", "Daewoo" and for buses "IVECO", the wheels for the new "Volga GAS - 3110", "VAZ-2110", 6,75x17,5 (MAZ), and also the newest powder paint coating "metallic" for wheels for passenger cars.
The produce of the enterprise is exported in the widest geographical range: from Eurasia and America to Australia and the active role in promotion of products belongs to the foreign trade representation of the company in Hungary - firm "Trans Wheels Tyres".

At the enterprise there is an advertising service, which actively operates, using the Internet as a tool for promotion of products on the market within the framework of a marketing cycle; it has created a site with information on the enterprise and goods. This is an additional trump of the enterprise - and improvement of image of a factory, and creation of trust of consumer.
