Lviv Production Plant of Hydromechanical Transmission is the only factory in CIS-countries which developed the serial production of complicated automobile units — automatic hydromechanical transmission.

In years 1994-97 complete privatization of our plant was realized and at present moment it is a factory with collective form of property: 100% of shares belong to physical and juridical persons. There is no state property part.

Nowadays our company is one in few producers of automobile units in Ukraine. The available manufacturing space — 18.2 sq. m. The number of equipment — over 900 units.
The stock of machine — tools includes the machines for various types of processing (turning, milling, polishing, cog-profile machining, cog- profile gouging, cog-profile honing), machining centres, coordinating machines and others.

Our plant is possessing the considerable space for mounting of automobile units as well as powerful test base (over 30 stands) which make it possible to carry out the varied tests of the units and its components with or without loading, to determine characteristics including ecological (noise).
The enterprise is producing:
- automatic hydromechanical transmissions for city buses and special vehicles which are equipped with Diesel and carburetor engines with max torque 500-1000 Nm (367-734 Ib, ft), there is an integral primary retarder;
- manual gearboxes for input torque 350-1250 Nm (257-917 Ib ft), the co-production with shareholding company "Praga", — Czechia.
- manual gearboxes for input torque 70-100 Nm (51-73 Ib ft) and driving axles for all-terrain vehicle (tipe LuAZ).

We supply automatic transmissions with support equipment:
- electronic control units (ECU)
- integral push button shift selectors
- oil coolers (director or remote mount)
- sensors
- indicators
- wiring harness

We are collecting a power plants (engine/ transmission) of Ukrainian producers engines (SMD, EhZTD), ISU - producers engines (KamAZ, JaMZ, MMZ) or west producers engines (MAN, Cummins, Katerpillar, Renault etc) with transmission of our manufacturing and are ready to supply them.

Recently our company has increased a list of its articles and their application's sphere through the development of transmission for special vehicles (construction machines, motorailers, bulldozers, scoop loaders, truck loaders, mine loaders, cranes).

Our company has got qualified designers and process engineers who are able to elaborate highly complicated articles. The produce personnel of our company consist mainly of high qualified machine operators, assemblers, testers.

There are perspective units in the plans of our company (at the stage of research pattern testing)
- many - staged automatic transmissions (with planetary gear package)
- retarders (for mechanical transmissions)

We
- produce the parts of ferrous and non-ferrous metals by higher class of precision;
- carry out thermal processing of construction and alloyed steels including cementation;
- have unused capacities to machine metals including polish of the thermal processing parts of the following types:
- multigraded smooth and castellated shafts made of the construction steels with dimensions: diameter - to 100 mm, length - to 500 mm
- hubs, flanges with dimensions: diameter to 200 mm, length - to 200 mm
- cog - wheels and cog -wheel blocks by higher class of precision with dimensions: diameter - to 200 mm, length - to 120 mm; cog-wreath's width -to 40 mm; module - from 2.5 to 5 mm
- housings, covers, oil sumps of steel, cast-iron, aluminum, magnesium castings with max dimensions - to 800 mm.

We are prepared:
- to produce the units of the following types: oil pumps, clutch assemblies, hydraulic vaivs;
- to repair automatic transmissions of our manufacturing and transmissions of foreign manufacturing (transmissions for buses, trucks and cars);
- to mount automatic transmission of our manufacturing in the used foreign buses in place of foreign transmissions which are unfit for functioning.

All orders are carried out with the qualified engineering service.

The production of our manufacturing including the repaired articles usually is tested according to the program which can be co-ordinated with customers.

The available qualified engineers aid workers, unused capacities and the testing base make it possible to master in collaboration with foreign companies an assemblage of the modem automobile units (automatic transmissions, manual gearboxes, power axles, engines etc).
