Lviv Plant of Medical Electronics (REMA) established in 1944 is a leading center of medical-purpose instrument making with more than 55-years’ experience in this field. The company is well-known in the CIS, Baltic and Eastern European countries as before the breakdown of the Soviet Union it supplied complex medical electronics to the medical institutions of these countries.

The company’s main activity is introdution and serial production of such medical appliances as:
a) apparatus for clinical Diagnosis and Physiology, specifically:
- electroencefalographs;
- electrocardiographs;
- reographs;
- polygraphs;
b) apparatus for Reanimatology and Anesthesiology, specifically:
- defibrillators;
- reanimation monitors;
- cardioreanimation complexes for hospitals;
- electrocardiostimulators;
c) physical therapy apparatus;
d) apparatus for gynecology;
e) electrodes and components;
f) laboratory equipment.

Nearly all the devices produced are developed using new inventions.

The staff of the plant consists of technically-qualified well-trained specialists and workers experienced in the production, comprehensive maintenance and repair of complex medical electronic equipment.

The company has imported and Ukrainian-made equipment which allow to produce parts and units and assemble devices, as well as perform the following operations:
- mechanical treatment;
- cold punching;
- welding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals;
- galvanic and varnished coating;
- stencil printing;
- plastics and rubber processing;
- casting( aluminum alloys);
- manufacture and assembly of printed circuit plates;
- magnetic wires and transformers manufacturing;
- thermal processing of metals.

In addition, the plant produces:
- special equipment;
- joiner's products;
- metal accessories for furniture industry;
- medical tables and cupboards, etc.

The statutory fund of the company is UAH 4,299,645, or USD 800,000. The state owns 61.32% of the company’s stock, which can be privatized according to the Ukrainian law. We are interested in introducing new high technologies and expanding into new markets, which will guarantee profitability of financial investment.
