Inter-Syntez Ltd

"Inter-Syntez" Ltd was founded in March, 1998 on the base of chemical engineering institution – "Syntez" Boryslav Research Institute With Experimental Plant. Our company owns production and warehouse buildings, a well equipped certified laboratory as well as high-professional staff. Wide international relations promoted establishing permanent business contacts with chemical manufacturers of France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Turkey, India, China and others.

The main goal of founding company was to provide regular import of chemicals not produced in Ukraine but required for chemical, textile, leather, pharmaceutical, food and other industries. Besides "Inter-Syntez" Ltd has been always focusing on scientific-engineering research which afforded the company to develop a number of modern technologies and to launch its our own manufacture.

"Inter-Syntez" Ltd is known for its researches on metal cluster catalysis, formic and acetic acids technologies, developing chemicals derived from biologically utilized raw materials, stabilization of chemically unstable mutual conversion systems.The high level and efficiency of the studies is corroborated by the fact that BASF -the world leader of formic acid production - bought in.

May, 1999 and patented afterwards formic acid process developed by "Inter-Syntez" Ltd.

By the end of 1999 the year revenue was multiplied by five while the current capital reached 1,800,000 UAH. The number of supplying chemicals increased to a dozen of items, namely, Hydrogen Peroxide, Formic Acid, Acetic Acid, Glycerin, Glyoxal, Glutaraldehyde, etc.

Besides "Inter-Syntez" Ltd owns a number of other solutions such as up-to-date technology of ethanol dehydration, stabilizing system formulas for hydrogen peroxide production, synthesis method of "Katoxan" – the activator of liquid-phase oxidation.

Profound studies of keto-enol system transformation enabled developing a series of quasistable formulas which laid the basis for new effective disinfectants. Having applied the developed formulas "Inter-Syntez" Ltd jointly with the State Veterinary and Food Additive Research and Control Institute started production of disinfectants under brands "Crystal 700", "Crystal 900" and "Crystal 1000". "Crystal 1000" became a disinfectant of new generation, which has no world analogues. All the formulas have been patented.


Since 2000 our "Inter-Syntez" Ltd was engaged to supply food chemicals. The company extended significantly its sold positions, and made new contacts with many leading manufacturers and suppliers of food additives.

In 2002 "Inter-Syntez" Ltd developed a technology of long-term stable formalin and started production.

In 2006 the company started working with hydrocolloids for food industry, namely, carrageenan, guar gum and xanthan gum.

At that time we also launched supplies of monomers for medical industry – Ethylene Glycol Dimethyl Ether, Triethylene Glycol Dimethacrylate.

Since 2007 scientific-engineering department has been carrying out research in chemical technologies based on utilization biological raw materials.
