Ukrpiezo, Private Joint-Stock Company

«UKRPIEZO» Private Stock Company is situated in Cherkasy in the center of Ukraine.

The enterprise was specially founded in 1980 as a main producer of acoustic electronics and piezo-engineering devices within the structure of the Ministry of Electronic Industry of the USSR. «UKRPIEZO» has always been a leader in the design and manufacture of electronics products. Nine of the ten TV receivers manufactured in the former USSR used SAW filters and resonators produced by «UKRPIEZO». For a long time, our company was a supplier of piezo-technical products for the needs of the Military Industrial Complex of the USSR.

«UKRPIEZO» has modern highly productive equipment, high technologies, and young and talented staff of engineers and technicians. These factors combine to allow the enterprise to organize design and serial production of piezotechnical products, from growing piezoelectric monocrystals and manufacture of high complexity fine-line photomasks to producing finished products.

The enterprise has necessary equipment for all kinds of mechanical, climatic and electrical testing which guarantees high quality of the products.

The company has a developed support network, including a system of compressed air, a system of air purification to be supplied to the production facilities, a system supplying inert mediums, both liquefied and gasified, and waste treatment installations.

The following basic production technologies are used at the enterprise:
- growing of piezoelectric monocrystals by Czochralsky method;
- high precision mechanical and chemical-dynamic piezoelectric material treatment;
- vacuum metal film deposition;
- highly precise photolithography;
- designing and manufacture of high complexity fine-line photomasks;
- automatic assembly of microelectronic components;
- laser and relief-contour pressurization of metal-glass packages;
- casting of plastic masses;
- manufacturing of plastic packages for SAW filters and resonators;
- mechanical metal treatment.

The main products are:
- wafers of Lithium Niobate;
- SAW filters for intermediate frequency amplifier of all standards TV receivers, paging systems and mobile phones;
- crystal resonators;
- piezo-ceramic resonators for remote control devices of different use;
- crystal oscillators (clock, thermocompensated, voltage controlled);
- piezo-acoustic transducers and piezo-sensors.
