Kyiv Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard, Joint-Stock Company

Joint-Stock Company Kyiv Shipbuilding & Shiprepair Yard is one of the oldest enterprises in the capital of Ukraine and all Dnieper basin. In November, 1896 the City Duma and Board of the Kyiv district in deadlock of building harbor of Obolon estate gave a plot for construction of state steamship workshops and slipway.

For many years the Yard executed construction of river self-propelled vessels and barges, and it also was one of the main shiprepair bases on Dnieper river.

Our Yard of today is a Joint-Stock Company, the first shipbuilding enterprise in Ukraine that is fully based on the private capital with mobile structure, that has passed its difficult way of privatisation and reformation to operate under market conditions

The manager team is constantly looking for new ways and trends of our production activities. Our production capacities are being intensively reconstructed and updated.

The famous specialized German Company "Ingenieurtechnik und Maschinenbau GmbH" has worked out the project of the Yard modernization on the grounds of advance shipbuilding technologies. Realization of this project will be one more step in the future of the Yard history.
